I really want to buy a few more sets and just live in these all winter.
I wore them as a base lay to shovel snow with temps around -8F and wind chills around -35F. They did great keeping out any air that managed to sneak through my top layers. Even though I was working hard shoveling they kept my dry and I didn't get sweaty at all.

Last year I bought my first pair of this wonderful thermal set. One of the best buys I've made in a very long time. I bought four sets. The fit was incredible. Not binding at all. The material is very thin but warm at the same time. One set was destroyed when I broke my hip and it had to be cut off me. I asked the nurse to cut in such a way as I could sew it back together again. Only basic colors were offered at the time I bought them last year. This year more colors were offered. A beautiful dark blue and violet were among the choices. They are lovely and just as comfortable. I am in these all winter around the house and under my clothing when I am out in the cold. Because they are thin material, they fit under my clothing easily.

I have flannel pjs & warm cozy pjs and housecoats; they are no match for the cold up in here! I put on these thermals and a good thick pair of slipper socks and it’s like being wrapped in a blanket. I have slept without a blanket every night since I got them. When I wear them outside I get the same results: I’m not cold! The lowest degrees it has gotten is 20’s overnight and daytime temperatures are between 35-42 degrees. Those temps would have me chilled to the bone after 2 hrs. I have been out over 4 hrs and did not feel the cold.

This is a incomplete review. It's done 2 nights at approximately 35 degrees and was great. My first western mountaineering bag. I'm a stomach sleeper in kind of a captain Morgan lay-out with my knee straight out. I had a marmot bag forever now that was plenty warm but just to narrow. The Terralite has plenty of room if your a stomach sleeper all spread out. The quality is 2nd to none. This bag is expensive and when you receive it you quickly know why and most of all its made in San Jose California and thats all they make. It came down to them or feathered friends. The terralite also makes a wonderful quilt as well. As far as its rating to 25 degrees its got tons of room to wear insulated clothing inside the bag and I've got a mountain hardware 34degree synthetic lamina to open and drape over if I'm going down below freezing. I will admit I'm looking at getting another WM bag just for cold of winter or for my wife to use in the rare time she is out in the 30 degree shoulder season trip as she is a cold sleeper. And that will be the Sequoia 5 degrees or Ponderosa 15 degrees which also have plenty of room for a side sleeper and stomach sleeper. If I could sleep on my back I'd hands down narrow things up to save weight. I also was checking out the nemo line of disco and other goofy named bags that look good for stomach and side sleepers but it came down to a company that specializes in bags and has been doing it for some time. One big thing I noticed is I don't see to many used WM sleeping bags out there for sale and now I clearly know why. - Jonny

The media could not be loaded. When I received the stove and opened the box, my first impression was that the stove was very well built and looked gorgeous; however, I was concerned about its compact size. First, I grabbed pots and pans of different sizes, shapes, and weights and checked how they fit on the stove. To my surprise, all the cookwares I have in my house were sturdy on the stove. The stove is not too heavy for a portable wood-burning stove, but it is heavy enough to support bigger and heavier pots. When we started the fire, I was impressed with how little fuel was required for its operation. We used just two small wood planks, and it was enough to produce a lot of heat for about 20 minutes. We tested the stove and decided to boil a whole pot of water, which was done quickly. We played with the bottom damper door, and it works. When you open the door wide, the stove produces more heat and burns wood faster; when you close the door, the stove produces less heat and burns wood slower. Before purchasing this stove, we cooked our meals on portable propane stoves during our camping trips. A couple of times per trip, we cooked on fire pits when we wanted a nice smell from burning wood in our meals, but we could not do it too often as it is not easy to cook on fire pits and requires a lot of wood. I can say that whose two wood planks we used in this wood stove for non-stop 20 minutes of burning will be enough only for starting a fire in a fire pit. So I can say cooking on this stove requires about 20-30 times less wood than cooking on a fire pit. Plus, on the stove, I have control over the burning intensity, all heat is directed to the pot and not wasted, and I do not worry that I can flip over a pot by accident. I am excited that now we can cook all the meals on our camping trips on the wood stove, meaning that all our meals will have that delicious wood-burning smell. :))))) Long story short, I finally understood why this stove is so compact. I LOVE this tent. This tent held up after a week in the rocky mountains, the badlands, heavy rainstorms and more. When I got to the badlands a heavy gust of wind came through and broke a bunch of peoples tents, & the pole for my tent broke aswell. I managed to get it to work for the rest of the trip, but had to get a new pole. REI sells an orange 8' pole that is adjustable and made of aluminum. It works even better with this tent. The pole that comes with this tent is fiberglass, very strong but it still broke under the wind.
