Fish Cheeks is a vibrant restaurant located on the iconic Bond Street in NoHo serving contemporary Thai food with a focus on seafood. Named for the lean, tender cheek meat that is considered the tastiest part of a fish and a delicacy in Asia, the critically-acclaimed and widely-beloved restaurant offers a menu of unabashedly intense, fresh and vivid dishes that span the diverse regions of Thailand. Helmed by Thai immigrants, brothers, and co-chefs Ohm and Chat Suansilphong + co-owner Jenn Saesue, Fish Cheeks is a deeply personal concept that celebrates the team's cultural heritage and the culinary artistry found in Bangkok and beyond. Brought together by their shared desire to bring traditional Thai cuisine to NYC, the team decided to open Fish Cheeks, offering a menu that highlights the unfiltered flavors they craved from their upbringing in Thailand and re-creates the type of convivial and communal-style dining found across the country-from the street-stalls to fine-dining restaurant.

“I highly recommend the Grilled King Mackerel (not pictured because we scarfed it down too fast). It's not as picturesque popular as the Steamed Fish, but Mackerel's got balance with the tender smokey, savory char fish and the tangy sweet mango salad - perfect Summer dish.
I've ordered standby classics Coconut Crab Curry and Sautéed Cabbage 6-10 times as this point. Always yummy!” —Linda Z.
“Fantastic dinner!! We shared the pork cheeks, fried chicken wings, crab curry (spicy!), whole fish and the corn salad. Everything was so delicious! We're visiting from California and this was recommended to us for a meal. So glad we were able to enjoy!” —Katie Anne N.
“Happy hour oysters are a dozen for $18, super good deal! The green sauce that comes with it is sooo good (I think there's fish sauce in it). This place was packed for lunch but we luckily waited 15 min.” —Rosey L.
