"La Bodega de Los Secretos is located inside a three hundred year old tunnel in the heart of Madrid. Not surprisingly, the atmosphere within and without is quite unique and more than a bit special - they'll happily give you a tour if you ask for one :-) Our dining experience here was exceptional from beginning to end - the service was impeccable and the food was simply amazing! Everything we tried that evening tasted wonderful, but the duck was extraordinary! The prices here are more than a little on the high side, but given the quality it's worth every Euro :-) I wouldn't hesitate to return at my next opporutnity, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something exceptional and a bit different!" - Diane K.
"tried their summer tasting menu and it was amazing. Our favorite was the scallops and the tuna. The mojito sherbet was also amazing. It was in a basement that used to be an old wine cellar." - Alexis M.
"This one has it all! A unique atmosphere, fantastic service, and spectacular food. The interior is like dining in a luxurious wine cellar. The lighting and brickwork lends to a romantic and elegant setting. The service was great. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful with recommendations. The menu is not overwhelming at two pages. You have some starters to share, some rice and pasta dishes, fish, and meat. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and extremely well prepared. Everything was very flavorful and was cooked perfectly. Of course they have several desserts and a fantastic wine list (although the wine seemed a tad overpriced). We loved it and would certainly return." - Matt C.
La Mi Venta is a restaurant dedicated to the elaboration of a tasty traditional and homemade cuisine, were the quality of the product is the main objective. Our speciality is the pure iberian acorn, the typical spanish stews and of course the grilled meats.
"Great find in Madrid for some authentic, local, delicious cuisine. Nice wine and Al fresco dining after lots of walking around the sights. The restaurant is rather tucked away in a neighborhood so not touristy at all!" - Alana G.
"Excellent restaurant close to the palace and Plaza de Espana. Come as a partty so you can order some of the larger peices of meat and paella, which serve more than one. Our server had serveral excellent recommendations, starting with the Iberian ham wiht tomatoes. A nice red wine accompanied the meal. Reservations aren't a bad idea and you may have a limited time (not rushed) before another party has your table reserved." - Hart P.
"The food here was amazing and the service was top-notch. Our server was so attentive and friendly. I regret not getting her name. It was the best meal we have had in Madrid so far. We started with the goat cheese chupa chups, ham croquettes, and calamari. Our entrees were the hake and cod loin. Fantastico! We will go back before we leave Madrid!" - Kerri C.
Rosi la Loca is a vibrant and beautifully decorated little restaurant in the center of Madrid, that specializes in modern Spanish cuisine.
"This place was amazing. My wife and I shared a salad, the croquettes and baocata de costilla and it was by far the best food we've had in Europe. The fancy drinks were pretty cool as well. I recommend making a reservation cause it's really popular." - Paul D.
"Wow! What a cool experience. This place is unlike anything you'd expect in a traditional setting like Madrid. Felt like something out of a movie (Alice in Wonderland) to be precise. Lol from the drinks to the food everything was delicious and thank goodness because it was definitely one of the more obscure places to go to and the ambiance felt so vibrant. The hostess seated us inside and downstairs and it was comfortable. What we had: The Blonde Sangria The Tacos The Octopus The begger's purse pasta (the only pasta dish on the menu) sorry if I'm mis-labeling it. All of the dishes come in some sort of fun bowl/dish. This is certainly a place to visit for a fun evening." - Valerie G.
"This is such a great tapas bar. The inside is whimsical and very pink hence the name but very fun. My table ordered a pitcher of white sangria and it was very tasty. All of the crafted drinks seem to come in crazy glasses which is also very cool. The patatas bravos were great and special mention to the pulpo because there was a hefty serving of octopus and I left very satisfied with my meal. The outside patio also seemed pretty chill, would love to come here again the next time I'm in Madrid:)" - Liza M.
Laid-back tavern with sidewalk tables, offering large helpings of Spanish & Mediterranean classics.
