"Unbelievable meal tonight. Every course from the French onion soup to the duck breast to the duck confit simply screamed "classic French cuisine." Every course was done perfectly, this was plate-lickingly delicious food. I highly recommend getting a menu with the French onion soup and duck breast and whatever dessert you like, plus an a la carte dinner with the salad that comes with a shooter of pea soup + three chèvre roasts and a confit duck main. Absolutely incredible. The vibe was great, service was friendly and kind. Other diners wandered in and begged for tables, only to be politely turned away. Reservations will be needed!" - Lauren B.
"Unequivocal five stars! Convenient location, attentive, friendly staff with perfect English (who put up with my attempts at ordering in French, anyway.) The four of us had starters of mushroom cappuccino (no coffee involved) which was almost indescribably good and amazingly intensely flavoured; and escargot which was prepared as usual with melted butter and parsley but wit added flavours and texture that took it to a new level. Then main dishes of tournedos Rossini (I had to try it once before I die and it was exceptional. To the point that I'm regretting that 'once'...); duck magret; and duck confit., both equally good. Dessert: no room left, sadly, though pretty much everything looked great. A bottle of 2016 Margaux was an outstanding accompaniment to an outstanding meal.
