“Hands down the best Indian food I have ever had in my GD life. We came on international women's day and we're given a free glass of champagne to celebrate, the tasting menu we ordered included two apps, three curries, rice, yogurt sauce and a side of Nan each. The meal was ended with a refreshing homemade icecream pop  Each and every component was delicious and uniquely flavorful. The service was some of the best I've ever had , such kind and caring staff. I would come back to Melbourne solely to eat here” Ciara M.
“Excellent choice for Indian! On a Saturday night we were lucky to grab a seat without a reservation. The restaurant quickly filled up. Their food and atmosphere did not disappoint. We ordered and enjoyed Naan with Alsi ke kofte, Navratan Korma and a side of saffron rice. I was in heaven! Tonight's dreams will be of my superb dinner in St. Kilda.” Mercedes L.
“Just had a great dinner with great service!  Hope to eat here again while in Melbourne. FYI. Learned the opened a restaurant in San Francisco and Manhattan NY. Really good. Try it!!” Patricia F.

Hoppers are a Sri Lankan specialty that are popular at Elephant Corridor. They are made from a batter of rice flour, coconut milk, palm toddy, and spices. They are cooked in a hot pan over a gas range into a crepe-thin, bowl-shaped pancake. Hoppers can be made plain, with an egg cooked in the middle (egg hoppers), or with a sweet centre (pani appa).

“I've been here a couple of times and love the food. The cashew curry is amazing! Staff are friendly and I highly recommend!” Kimberley J.
“A fantastic little restaurant. Food is excellent, the menu is varied and interesting. The staff are warm and welcoming and the service is excellent. Last time I went I was accompanied by a very picky, whiney vegetarian and they were incredibly patient and accommodating.” Kitty K.
“Husband is Sri Lankan so I've eaten my fair share of Sri Lankan food. This place is second to none. We had the hoppers - all delicious- with chicken curry, cashew curry, kothu roti and pol sambol. All were fantastic but the chicken curry was stand out. A little more expensive than your usual 'local' but worth the extra $ for the atmosphere and service - definitely somewhere you could spend a Saturday night. Will be back” Ani K.
