Reader Review:
This is a must read book!! But I will say that I have a totally different point of view to the story than what most, in fact, all the reviews and editorials I have seen. I am not a bookworm and so the idea that books are gone is not an apocalyptic idea. The book was written before the internet and the information age. It is WHY the books are burned and WHAT the books represent that should open your eyes and minds while reading this book. -The Expert

It ended up being AMAZING. I was very pleasantly surprised! Origionally we just boight this due to our household love of nightmare before christmas. But i opened it up and didnt close it til i finished it! It gave Sally an amazing story and due to watching nightmare before christmas oh I don't know 100x? It was very easy to visualize most of this book and follow it and I loved that! Sally is a personal favorite of mine and this book gave her an amazing ending or maybe beginning? -Sadie

20. The Hotel Nantucket
It's the summer of 1985, and the Hotel Nantucket is the place to be. The staff is young, hip, and attractive, the guests are A-list, and the island is alive with possibilities. There's a new wedding coordinator, a new chef, and a new bartender.

OMG, OMG, OMG. This book is so good I was crying for joy only a few pages in. It is so good you cannot stop reading. Laughing out loud, fist bumps. This reader consumes at least five books a week. The last time I enjoyed a book this much was when I read The Blue Bistro for the first time.
When I read Elin's books, I can see all the many parts and pieces that are Nantucket. Walking down the streets again, going in the book store, the history museum. I just don't have the words to describe the utter joy, feeling like I'm back there.
You must read this book. Soon. -Kindle Customer

I saw the movie and fell hard, bought the book but just last weekend read it.
It's one those books that literally takes you away, very gently and tenderly tears your heart out, but then leaves you feeling transported, as if Claire and Henry's story was your life, your love, your heartache. So beautiful. So glad HBO took an interest! -Ethel LaGrange-Fiermonte
