"Family owned operation, very friendly staff, reasonable prices. Food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the ribs which can only be described as "smoked to perfection". The gravy in the poutine was packed with flavour without being overly savoury. Mac n cheese was so very cheesy though I found it a bit bland, but perhaps that's because I had the ribs and poutine first. Worth the 40 minute drive!" - Kathleen Z.

"If you are looking for delicious, homemade, flavour bomb BBQ and Cajun food run to RDs. We were randomly in the area, pulled up Yelp for a recommendation and they were top of the list. Went inside and were provided great service - for takeout we order a full rack of ribs, the Brisket sandwich, the pork Mac n cheese and Jambalaya. Ribs - delicious, smoky and good bark. Brisket sandwich- simple perfection; tender, succulent and perfect bbq sauce. Mac n cheese - actually cheesy, great flavour, generous portion Jambalaya - order this!!! The brisket was tender and the barbecue sauce flavorful, the jambalaya tested authentic as I used to live in New Orleans and it reminded me of there. The stand out was the cornbread, It was so good.
