9 Best Korean Food Restaurants in Vancouver.

"This cute, hip place has my favorite cocktail of anywhere. Try the one eyed samurai and you will be forever changed. So delicious! Every time I visit Vancouver I hit up this place for this drink. It's always an enjoyable time to sit at the bar and sip on this watermelon flavored masterpiece. (And yes, you do have to go through a sketchy area to get there, but it's worth it.)"—Autumn M.
"Frightening location. Amazing, fun, creative food that is designed with love and imagination. Here are the pro tips: 1) order the tasting menu 2) on a weeknight 3) at the very start of service (around 5 pm). 4) Sit at the kitchen window booth. We did this and got served by the restaurateur himself. He provided us amazing commentary on each course and it's wine pairing, including the personal stories of the vintners and their wineries. Expect unique, sometimes challenging dishes. That's the fun of it! This is a culinary adventure, not Tim Horton's. Disregard the obtuse, buffoonish negative reviews ( Crystal G.), PiDGiN is the real deal."—Ian K.
"Amazing service, delicious cocktails, and incredible food. If you're visiting Vancouver, do yourself a favor: make a reservation here and do the tasting menu. The lamb sirloin was unbelievably good!"—Johnny M.

"My family and I loved this place so much we came here two nights in a row! We ordered the ox bone soup (both days), seafood pancake, tang suyuk, and the bossam. You get very decent portion sizes (especially the seafood pancake - it's huge and can easily feed 4 people) for the price. Their bossam is seasoned super well and is tender too. I came around 7pm both days and didn't have to wait too long (at most 10 minutes). It is pretty small and cozy inside so if you have a large party, so expect to wait a bit more. I'd definitely come back again, especially for their bossam! They also accept credit card here!"—Liona L.
"Their portions are huge! The sundubu has a lot of tofu in their -- very generous! A lot of mushrooms on the vegetable soup as well. It cones with rice. I love their banchan too! When we were there they had the potatoes (in sweet sauce), kimchi, seaweed, and fish cake  they have freeflow barley tea."—Esther Y.
"Seriously great place for lunch. Their food is delicious with decent portion size and variety of options on the menu that includes nice soupy options fitting for the cold weather. Covid measures wise, we had to leave our name/number at the front, vaccine passports checked, plastic hanging barriers between tables, QR code scan for menu, and servers masked up. Food wise, I got the Lunch Set Pork Bulgogi - Little Spicy and it was just enough spicy for me!  (I've tried Medium before and it was too much for me.)  The pork had good, strong flavors. The rice cakes was a good contrast on this dish to counter all the spice. I'm craving it again as I write this. As usual, it came with 4 complimentary refillable side dishes that were also delicious. My friend got the Duk Mandu Guk which came in a giant bowl filled with gyozas that she said was good but the beef broth was a bit underseasoned, but maybe intended that way. They have an online menu you can order take out directly from them too and choose your pickup time."—Mandy T.
