"Enjoyed an early dinner with family. This is a very nice restaurant with a great wait staff. Everyone friendly and courteous. Yummy Bread served to start - with oil to dip. We were served water first. I appreciate that you not only get water but they leave behind a bottle for refills. I didn't like that the water was less than room temperature. The food made up for it. Everything was delicious. No complaints amongst the table. There was very little that was boxed to go. Well, except a cannoli because we were too full to eat desert there. Try it out. You won't be disappointed. I recommend making reservations and asking for a booth or you can risk rubbing elbows with another table within feet of you. Enjoy!" - Suzanne A.
"My boyfriend and I chose this as our first date night spot shortly after moving to Charlotte. We chose it based on comparing their menu to a few other Italian places. The fact that they offered eggplant parmesan drew us there since that is my top favorite Italian dish. We ordered an appetizer from the mozzarella bar: the stracciatella with an accompaniment of Peppadew peppers stuffed with goat cheese and mascarpone. Our server recommended the peppers and we were not disappointed! Major flavor punch from the peppers that was nicely balanced by the cheese filling. The entrees we ordered were the pork-wagyu meatballs and spaghetti for him and the eggplant parm for me, with a side of radiators pasta with vodka sauce instead of the spaghetti. The serving size of these plates was unexpected. I knew immediately that my plate would turn out to be at least 3 meals for me. Our food all tasted fresh and very flavorful. The eggplant tasted much different than the majority of eggplant I'd had at other restaurants. It was much fresher! I was also highly impressed by the vodka sauce on the pasta. Last but not least, our server, Jameson was phenomenal. From beginning to end, he made us feel welcome and at ease. He checked on us at the right times, made recommendations when asked, that felt authentic and not rehearsed and overall, he took our dining experience to the next level.
