"Wonderful dinner! I made a reservation for our anniversary. we were seated next to the fireplace. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Mussels were excellent! our meal came in a timely manner, nice and hot. As we were finishing our drinks, we were surprised with a piece of cake, wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Such a nice gesture. Thank you for helping us celebrate 50 years!" - Rose B.

"So it's been a minute since I've had oysters and being in land-locked Alberta I would say that's pretty typical here. BUT, if you're like me and missing your yearly trip to the ocean I would highly recommend you head on over to Von's for their Buck-A-Shuck! It's kinda like happy hour but with oysters! We ordered 18 of the Chef's Creek oysters ($1.50 each) and they were by far our favourite ones. We also tried 6 of the Pink Moon oysters ($2.50 each) and 6 of the Shiny Sea oysters ($3.00 each). You have to order in batches of 6 for all the oysters. We also had calamari which the dip was so yummy. The mushrooms Neptune (delicious!) I saved my leftovers from this to eat for breakfast on toast with a fried egg on top! Drooling.... We also ordered the Hoisin Cauliflower which was another delicious dish and a bottle of Prosecco to wash it all down with. Our total bill was just about $160 which is totally worth it for this amazing special food. The ambiance in the lounge was great, our server was so attentive, the manager even came out to greet everyone. The music was some great Latin beats which we definitely enjoyed. If you're looking for a date night or just a taste of the sea, head on over to this local staple, you will not be disappointed!" - Vilma R.

"Atlas Steak and Fish at West Edmonton Mall is a mesmerizing restaurant for all steak lovers. A must have is their filet mignon which is what I had. The steak was cooked to my requested perfection (medium rare) and each bite that I took was like heaven on earth. A must try for all foodies. The only complaint I would have is the slow service from my server. I had to get another servers attention in order to wave my server over. Other than that, my party's dining experience was wonderful." - Philip H.
"It was our last night in alberta and we were deciding where to eat. We were at the West Ed Mall and saw the Atlas Steak and Fish. We were greeted by Chad who was very friendly and made some good suggestions, we went with the parm truffle fries, mussel and clams and a lobster bisque to start. For our entree we went with the tomahawk steak. We were very surprised as the quality of food was very good, this was the second tomahawk steak we had on our trip in Alberta, the first being at the fairmont hotel at Lake Louise, and we were pretty disappointed as they had for remake our tomahawk steak because they over cooked it. But at the Atlas the tomahawk was perfect and very flavorful. We ended the meal with yet another awesome recommendation from Chad the Salted Caramel Creme brulee. Thanks to Chad and the kitchen staff for making our last meal in Edmonton memorable." - Kevin T.
"The wife and I decided to take the opportunity to experience the dining pleasures that everyone was raving about and was overwhelmed on what was so very true ! The service we had was with Anita, needless to say we were pampered and treated with such royal treatment it made the evening a dining pleasure. The meal was exquisite as everyone has mentioned and nothing seemed to be in a negative way as we took our time to enjoy the pianist they have playing just seemed to relax us for the experience that has never been matched to my knowledge in my dining experience in Edmonton. Price wise was a shocker as I never was one to look at the cost but had to review the bill as it seemed much lower than I thought but it was correct! Take the time have yourself pampered with a beautiful evening out." - Bill M.
