"Had a delicious Cosmo to start, bringing it back to early 2000 lol Ribeye was perfect! Mushrooms tasty. Brussel sprouts were the best I've had nationally. Our first bottle of Pinot Noir was great Baldacci, but I didn't enjoy our second bottle of Zinfandel (likely just my preference and palette). The third, a Cab Sauv, was much better! Savoury, tender and everything you'd expect from a cut of meat, a slab of steak here won't go unfinished, and the sides only give them that extra edge. "Been here many times and we've never had a bad meal. Went for a belated Christmas dinner with my partner. As to be expected post-Christmas, the restaurant was not too busy for a Saturday night. We were seated promptly and had some pre-dinner cocktails. For our meals, my partner had the beef ribs, i had a steak with prawns. My partner was concerned about portion size on the ribs but the server assured him they were sizeable. She wasn't lying as you can see in the photos. We were stuffed but managed to save room to share carrot cake. To the staff at Lux and in particular our server Rena, thank you for yet another excellent meal. "We go here for all our special occasions. Lastly being my mom and dads 50th wedding anniversary. Chef Sonny Sung did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, huge portions, and the staff were more than accommodating. This place is an absolutely amazing establishment. My father had the lamb shank which was huge! I decided on the veal which was so tender and delicious it's my new favourite. The presentation of the food is always artistic and beautiful. You should definitely try Bistecca! "What an incredible night out! My husband and I wanted to celebrate and had looked for restaurants close to us on yep (thank you!) and saw this beautiful place! We had driven by it many times but decided we would treat ourselves and try something new and higher class! It was a slow Tuesday evening and wow the atmosphere was relaxing and romantic! Our serving staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We started with the Caesar salad - best I've had!!!! Then I had the New York strip and my husband was over the moon to see a ravioli that wasn't cheese stuffed but rather filled with a short rib beef!!! We were both impressed with the flavors of or dishes and the lovely presentation!
