"I found out about this amazing restaurant from followTK (dot com) and learned that I could use my Chase Sapphire credit card points to pay for this dinner, wine, & tip making this essentially a FREE meal! (And the restaurant got paid!) It was a fabulous way to use our points.   Honestly, if you like dinner with a show and some art thrown in, you'll love this super creative meal.  Ours was a choreographed "Cinema" themed meal with story, light changes, and music to complement the dishes that not only looked amazing and on theme but tasted out of this world.   This is NOT a fancy dinner in the sense of dress up and enjoy intimate conversation with your guest.  It is being seated counter-style facing the show and something constantly going on for 2 hours. The plating of the food with a brief description of the sustainability or the rarity of the dish was beautifully done.   This style of meal is well known in NYC, SF, and LA.  Chef Sam and the team do an excellent job in their creation here in CLT.   Counter- changes the theme up quarterly and has some pop-up themes as well to keep it exciting and fresh.  Reservations are required and prepaid.  If you are considering counter- know what you are getting into, they will knock your socks off with creative, thoughtful (and scientific) dishes that you will never find at any other restaurant in CLT.  You are there for a show and it is well paced, delicious, and only experienced with a handful of people, so a fairly private event.   I want a membership, Chef Sam, if you open up more spots!  Thank you for bringing this to Charlotte.  I wish you much success and cannot wait to come back." - Kim S.
